Grayson Swaggerty, Carter Romans, and Kate Walk competed in the Regional SkillsUSA Crime Scene Investigation Competition at Northeast State Community College on February 7, 2025. In the competition, they placed 1st for the Upper East Region and earned the opportunity to compete at the state level in April at Chattanooga State Community College . The competition in April included interviews, dissecting a crime scene, and demonstrating proper evidence collection. After completing the competition, they once again placed 1st, which is the second time they took the state gold medal!
In late June, they will represent the State of Tennessee at the SkillsUSA National Championship in Atlanta, Georgia. We congratulate them on this great achievement and wish them the best of luck!
